Their team works all year round analyzing fertiliser specifications, testing, and formulating spread charts by spreading more than 200 tons of fertiliser annually. Key milestones in their innovative history include the construction of their first test hall in 1964 and, in 1988, the introduction of the world's first spreader incorporating weighing technique.     Bogballe A/S is currently owned by Erhvervsinvest, a private equity firm committed to maintaining and further developing Bogballe as a technology leader in mineral fertiliser spreaders. A significant development occurred in March 2023 when Erhvervsinvest also acquired Bredal A/S, renowned for its red fertiliser spreaders. With a combined area of 38,600 m² spread over three locations, the Bogballe and Bredal brands now collectively possess the world's largest production facility for fertiliser and lime spreaders. It is with good reason that the area housing these three factories is now becoming known as the "Silicon Valley of fertiliser spreaders."
