Brief Description: The success story of CEMO began in 1960, when
founder Erhard Mödinger, in the wine region of Weinstadt, Baden-Württemberg,
had the innovative idea to replace the traditional wooden barrels used by
winegrowers and farmers with lighter, more resistant containers made of glass
fibre reinforced plastic (GRP). What started as a two-man business, then
known as "Chemo," quickly became a well-known and successful
enterprise in Weinstadt and the surrounding area. With a rich history spanning 65 years, CEMO has
evolved from a pure manufacturer of GRP products into a comprehensive,
full-range supplier and problem solver for a multitude of industries. With
