Brief
Description: The story of the COLLARI company
began in the early 1950s, when Mario Collari and his son Edore, driven by
strong local demand, started manufacturing rotary tillers and coil winders
for metal wire in a small workshop in their town center. With a legacy now
spanning over seven decades, the company expanded by 1963, moving into new
premises under the leadership of Edore, who has since guided its growth.
Today, the company is managed by the third generation of the Collari family:
Gian Luca and his sister Valeria, operating from their own 5,000 m² premises. COLLARI's manufacturing philosophy is to apply new
technology as it becomes available, constantly improving its products without
ever compromising the robust build quality that has always been their most
distinguishing feature. This commitment has allowed COLLARI to make its name
in Italy and around the world, known for the precise and sturdy construction
of its products. These features are particularly appreciated by its most
demanding customers, who use the equipment for increasingly intense and professional
applications. Over the years, as the agricultural industry has
evolved, COLLARI has adapted to meet the demands of a constantly changing
market. This has resulted in the production of a wide range of new machines
beyond their initial offerings, including grubbers, rippers, normal
cultivators, combined implements with hydraulic roller sections or rear
disks, stone buriers, bed formers, and combined sowing machines for minimum
tillage. A close focus on the needs of its customers has also given COLLARI
the opportunity to expand into new markets, such as gardening, horticulture,
and plant nurseries, leading to the production of specialized machines for
ground preparation. In parallel, a distinct division of the company
focuses on the production and distribution of coil winders for metal wire.
These machines were originally intended for agricultural customers, to make
metal wire coils for use on hay balers. However, their application has now
expanded extensively into other fields, such as the recycling of paper, rags,
plastic, and tins, and for baling dehydrated forage. Today, they are intended
primarily for customers operating in the processing and steel-working
industries. COLLARI has expanded considerably since it first
started business, exporting its products throughout Europe and to the United
States, South America, Central America, Russia, North Africa, the Middle
East, and Australia. The company is also a founder member of CONSORZIO
EUROAGRI for the promotion of export and serves as a business partner to
several other companies operating in its field. |
