Brief Description: With a history of innovation spanning 30 years,
Cramaro was founded in Cologna Veneta, Italy, in 1995 with the launch of
Cabriolé, the first-ever tarpaulin system for industrial vehicles featuring a
supporting structure and advanced movement technology. This patented system
revolutionized the trucking industry by increasing both productivity and
safety, and despite numerous attempts at imitation, it established Cramaro as
a leader. This marked the beginning of tireless work in research and
technological innovation, as well as a long and fruitful collaboration with
road transport operators and the principal manufacturers of trailers and
semi-trailers. Building on the strength of its Italian experience
and success, Cramaro began its expansion throughout Europe, with a particular
focus on the French, Spanish, and German markets. In 1997, just two years
after its founding, it solidified its presence on the continent by
establishing its own Business Units in France and Spain. The
internationalization of the brand continued in successive years, and in 2012,
the company expanded beyond European borders with the opening of a Business
Unit in Brazil. These international Business Units significantly increased
the company's prospects and contributed to the worldwide establishment of the
Cramaro brand, which was destined to become synonymous with high-quality
tarpaulin systems. In 2016, Cramaro Tarpaulin Systems and the foreign
Business Units merged under the management of a new entity, Cramaro Holding.
This strategic move initiated an important three-year period of significant
growth for the Group in terms of both brand awareness and turnover. The
strong and steady growth of the business consolidated the Group's
international leadership to such an extent that it attracted the interest of
foreign investors. In January 2020, a new chapter began when the listed
Swedish group Lifco joined the Board, lending further strength to the Cramaro
identity within a project that ensures continuity with the company's
long-standing corporate values and objectives. |
