Brief Description: With a history and passion for agricultural
mechanics spanning four generations, the company now known as De Pietri was
founded in 1920. Following the end of World War I, Giovanni De Pietri
leveraged the experience he had gained in the army’s machine shops to
establish a small handicraft firm for repairing agricultural equipment. He
manufactured tools that were considered to be at the vanguard of technology
at that time, and he quickly became a point of reference for local and
neighboring farmers. His passion for mechanics was passed on to his two
sons, Amilcare and Remigio, who, in the period between the 1940s and 1950s,
expanded the activity by alternating between building machine manufacturing
and agricultural machinery repairing. A pivotal moment came in 1960 when the
two brothers turned their focus away from building machines and officially
founded the firm De Pietri. They simultaneously invented the innovative green
forage self-propelled harvester-loader, a machine designed for picking up green
fodder for bovine feeding. This machine was not only an absolute innovation
at a world level but also a huge commercial success. It substantially
contributed to launching the De Pietri brand on all markets, allowing the
company to become well known, to grow, and to develop products that became
more and more valued. The entrance of the next generation, sons Galeano and Fernando, into the firm further increased, over the years, the production of agricultural equipment such as self-propelled and frontal mowing-conditioning machines, reversible-drive tractors, and industrial harvesters-loaders for vegetables. Every component was meticulously manufactured and produced inside the plant by highly qualified personnel. Currently run by Galeano De Pietri and his sons
Gabriele and Giacomo—representing the son and grandsons of one of the company
founders—the firm has continued to innovate and maintain its strong presence
in an ever-evolving market. It has increased its production with a complete
line of harvesters-loaders and specialized equipment for the "fourth
range" and industrial fresh vegetables sector. Thanks to its deep specialization and the experience
gained over four generations and more than 65 years of focused manufacturing,
De Pietri has made its name in the world market. It has earned a reputation
