Brief
Description: Dosatron is a specialized manufacturer that develops, produces, and distributes a unique, non-electric proportional dosing pump technology designed for the continuous and proportional injection and mixing of liquid or soluble concentrates into water. For 51 years, these water-driven dosing pumps have been utilized by professionals in over 100 countries across a wide range of sectors, including animal health, irrigation, water treatment, industry, food processing, and hygiene. The concept of the water-powered, non-electric proportional dosing system was born in France in 1974. The unique process was invented by veterinarian Philippe Cloup and his brother, engineer Jean Cloup. Based on the crucial insight that a sick farm animal often stops eating but continues to drink, the brothers designed an automatic syringe to accurately mix treatments into the drinking water, thereby allowing for more automated and precise administration of medication to farm animals. The spirit of the family business lives on today at
Dosatron. The company prides itself on having employees who have been with
the company for more than 20, 30, or even 40 years, passing on the rich
history of Dosatron and their invaluable expertise to the newer generations
who have joined more recently. Today, Dosatron has more than 120 employees
based at its main site in Tresses (Bordeaux, France), as well as in various
distribution offices around the world, continuing its legacy of innovation in
dosing technology. |
