Brief Description: The story of Durso S.r.l. began in 1975 when
Alberico Durso founded a small mechanical workshop. This marked the beginning
of a 50-year journey of growth and innovation. By 1978, at the dawn of
agricultural mechanization, the Durso company began producing trailers for
motor hoes, quickly earning a very important market share in the production
and marketing of agricultural machinery. A significant evolution occurred in
1983 with the commencement of production for the first self-propelled
agricultural machines. Over the years, the company's structure evolved,
transforming from an individual company to a family business, subsequently to
an SNC (general partnership), and finally, in 1998, to its current S.r.l.
(limited liability company) status. To cope with an ever-increasing and renewed demand
from the market, the production of agricultural machines, used mainly in
mountain areas, was complemented by the production of versatile operating
machines. With these new machines, the company aimed to combine the best
comfort with important features and use versatility. Durso directed its
efforts towards a specific national and international market niche
characterized by needs for compact dimensions, versatility, and reliability.
In 2008, Durso S.r.l., deeply renewed in terms of its production and new
product design capacity, entered the industrial vehicle market, further
integrating its range of multi-function machines. Consistent with its mission
to provide solutions to the customer, not just vehicles, the company’s
efforts have always been aimed at the continuous improvement of its products'
technical characteristics, in order to make them reliable work partners. This
dedication to innovation is made possible thanks to a top-quality technical
office, the use of the most modern design software, and the considerable
resources invested by the company in R&D. Underscoring its commitment to
quality, Durso S.r.l. obtained its ISO 9001 certification in 2004, a standard
that is still maintained today with a prestigious certifying authority to
constantly improve the production cycle and the quality offered to the
customer. Nothing is left to chance in their operations;
distribution, for instance, is entrusted to sales agents who possess not only
good commercial skills but also adequate technical competence to ensure
necessary after-sales assistance. A new production line of winter maintenance
machines was launched in 2013, destined in particular for foreign markets. In
just a few years, these products have consolidated their presence in the
markets of Northern Europe (including Switzerland, Germany, the Czech
Republic, and the Slovak Republic) and in Russia. Today, Durso S.r.l. is an important company in the
world production of machine tools, agricultural machinery, industrial
vehicles, and multi-purpose vehicles. Having navigated this complex and
fascinating market for over three decades in its current form, the long
tradition and the experience learned have secured the company an important
presence throughout the territory of the European Union and beyond. Even
