Brief
Description: With an illustrious past spanning
102 years, ENRIA SAS is today led by Stefano Enria, a young entrepreneur
representing the fourth generation of his family's legacy. Founded in 1923 by
Stefano's great-grandfather, Bartolomeo Enria, the company was developed over
the decades by his sons, Giovanni and Cesare, and then by Bartolomeo,
Giovanni's son and Stefano's father. The founder's early success was
recognized in 1954 with a diploma of merit from the city of Alba, where he
annually showcased the sector's latest innovations. Participation in the main
agricultural exhibitions of the region, such as those in Carmagnola, Saluzzo,
and Savigliano, firmly established Enria as one of the local leaders in the
sector. The original company headquarters were located in
front of the town church until 1966, when they moved to the current warehouse
on via Circonvallazione Giolitti. A pivotal moment in the company's history
came in 1978 when Cesare moved his part of the business to Saluzzo, while
Bartolomeo (Stefano's father) continued and focused the production of
machinery in Torre San Giorgio. The modern development of the company is
attributed to this Bartolomeo, who had the courage to look beyond the Alps
and successfully realized his ambitious dream of making the Enria brand known
internationally. Today, several dedicated workers are employed in the
2,000-square-meter production area, alongside the family—including Stefano's
partner and wife, Magdalena Kardas, who oversees the entire administrative
department. While the Torre San Giorgio company initially focused on wagons
of various sizes, it later diversified its range to include trailers, manure
spreaders, silage wagons, tank wagons, and milling machines. Currently, Enria
primarily produces machines for haymaking and is considered among the national
leaders in the production of self-loading mower wagons and wrappers. The great flexibility of Enria's agricultural
machinery has allowed it to remain competitive and build a strong export
market, serving clients mainly in Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland,
Cyprus, and Slovenia, while also reaching beyond European borders to Costa
Rica, Colombia, and Japan. The company remains focused on the technological
development of its machinery and is committed to providing employment
opportunities for young people in its local area. |
