Exa Pumps S.r.l. is a family-run company specializing in the design and production of submersible electric pumps, with a primary and constant commitment to the study and creation of innovative products that can compete effectively on the global market. The company's story began in 1988 with the founding of the independent company Felsom S.r.l., which initiated the distribution of its products in the Italian market. Over its 37-year history, the company name has changed, but its core nature and corporate mission have remained the same. Today, the company is led by the third generation of the family, who make dynamism their strong point, successfully distributing their products—both under their historic brand and personalized private labels—to markets across five continents.

A significant new chapter for the company began in September 2024, when Exa Pumps became part of the Pentax Industries S.p.A. Group, a move that has expanded its product portfolio to now include a full range of surface, drainage, and industrial pumps. The company has been certified for ISO 9001 (production quality), ISO 14001 (environmental respect), and ISO 45001 (health and safety at work) since 2018.

The extensive range of "MADE IN ITALY" products currently includes 4” and 6” submersible pumps with plastic and pressed stainless steel impellers; 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”, and 14” cast iron and cast 316 stainless steel pumps; 4” and 6” oil-filled motors; and water-cooled motors from 4” to 12”. This is complemented by a wide variety of accessories such as starter panels and cooling jackets. The company's production site is strategically located in the industrial area of Gera Lario (CO), at the northern tip of Lake Como, approximately one hour by car north of Milan and away from the traffic of the city.
