With a history of serving its clients for over two
decades, Genialcap is dedicated to the care and protection of crops and
the environment. Based in Misano Adriatico, Italy, our mission is to research
and develop new, sustainable solutions that support the coexistence of
humanity and nature. In our effort to contribute to the agri-food sector
while safeguarding environments from pollution caused by pesticides, we have
developed a line of eco-friendly products. The pest control methods we offer
are targeted and specific for invasive species, providing a valid alternative
to reckless treatments that can harm the environment. We understand that even
when solutions are found, changing atmospheric conditions require continuous
research, improved techniques, and more effective baits for increasingly selective
capture. A key innovation is our snail and slug trap/dispenser, which
helps prevent soil contamination by ensuring the repellent does not make
direct contact with the soil. In close collaboration with national and foreign
beekeepers, we have also developed satisfactory solutions for the defense of
beehives from attacks by hornets and Asian hornets. For the removal of
European Bee-eaters, we have created electromechanical and, in some cases,
acoustic kits. These systems are not only aimed at protecting bees but also
at promoting crop health by deterring large flocks of birds from agricultural
spaces and, critically, from airports to protect flight safety from bird
strikes. Our search for sustainable methods extends to the
residential sector, where we are developing systems for the recycling of
underused wastewater to allow for its recovery and use in irrigation for both
traditional and vertical cultivation, such as our Hydro lung system for
unlimited water reserves. For several years, we have actively engaged with
industry professionals by participating in national and international trade
fairs, where we connect with people who bring their real-world problems to
our attention. Our research activities are often fueled by the valuable
suggestions and observations of those seeking to resolve these issues, which
has led to several fruitful collaborations for both greenery maintenance and
livestock farming. Looking to the future, we have also been
collaborating for several years with marine biology experts, pursuing a
program of activities to protect marine flora and fauna and support fish
farming. We are currently working on prototypes that could be made available
to coastal communities in the near future to protect them from jellyfish
invasions and to help collect non-biodegradable waste from the water. |
