Brief Description:

With a rich history of innovation dating back to 1952, the company now known as Kubota Gianni Ferrari has been a significant force in the world of professional grounds care machinery for over 70 years. The journey began when Gianni Ferrari, alongside his father Fernando, patented irrigation machines and components. By 1957, Gianni had designed his first motor cultivator, dedicating himself fully to agricultural machinery from the family's base in the industrial heart of Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Throughout the 1960s and 1980s, the company developed a wide range of machinery, specializing in articulated tractors with four-wheel drive. A parallel story of growth began in 1979 when Claudio Ferrari founded Officine Bieffebi, which initially developed attachments for these machines. This synergy culminated in 1989 with the formal establishment of Gianni Ferrari S.r.l. to manufacture professional lawnmowers. The company quickly established a reputation for groundbreaking innovation, producing Europe's first zero-turn (ZTR) lawnmower, the Turbograss, in 1990, and the world's first lawnmower with a front-mounted cutting unit and direct loading system, the Top Green, in 1994. After the successful launch of the iconic **Turbo 4 in 1997, the integration between the two family companies was completed in 2001, with Gianni Ferrari becoming the sole brand for the entire range.

The following decades were marked by continuous innovation, including the launch of the Turboloader multifunctional machine (2008), the introduction of an electric-powered professional lawnmower line (2019), and the new V50 and PG XPRO series (2020). This long history of excellence and forward-thinking design led to a new chapter in 2022, when Kubota Holdings Europe fully acquired the company, creating Kubota Gianni Ferrari. This move ensures the continued legacy of the Gianni Ferrari brand, recognized by Kubota for its importance, innovation, and reliability.

Today, operating from a consolidated and expanded 10,000 m² production facility, the company's team of 115 employees continues to develop and manufacture high-performance machines, now distributed in over 30 countries. The production processes are guided by the Kaizen methodology and supported by a dedicated R&D department that collaborates with institutions like the University of Bologna. This commitment to excellence ensures that Kubota Gianni Ferrari remains a leading name in providing intelligent solutions for professional green space maintenance worldwide.
