Kharkiv Bearing Plant (HARP) stands as one of the largest manufacturers of bearing products in Eastern Europe and is the only enterprise in Ukraine that produces bearings for railway transport. Since January 2000, after more than 25 years, the plant has been an integral part of the UPEC Industrial Group. The company operates from a significant facility covering an area of over 45 hectares and employs approximately 3,000 people.

The range of manufactured products includes more than 500 types of ball and cylindrical roller bearings, with outside diameters from 30 mm to 400 mm, marketed under the well-known trademarks HARP, HARP AGRO, and HARP AUTO. The plant's technological lines and advanced equipment allow for an annual production capacity of up to 30 million bearings. HARP is a recognized leader in the development and production of ball bearings for agricultural machinery and is one of the leading suppliers to the transport machinery and railway industries. The company's products are also widely used in the automotive and electrical industries, as well as in the mining and metallurgical complex.

Over the years, HARP has strategically expanded its offerings. In 2007, the company added the production of hot-stamped and turned semi-finished products and components for automobile, railway, and industrial bearings to its traditional areas of activity. More recently, in 2015, HARP opened a new niche for itself with the production of complete bearing units under the HARP AGRO UNIT trademark, which are widely used in both domestic and imported agricultural machinery.

The development and continuous improvement of HARP products are ensured by the high professionalism and vast experience of specialists at the Engineering Center Ukrainian Design and Technology Bureau of the Bearing Industry (UKTBPP) and the United Engineering Center of UPEC. Significantly, UKTBPP is the leading center in Ukraine for the development of ball and roller bearings for a wide range of industries and serves as the parent organization that develops state standards and regulatory documentation for bearing products in the country. The high quality of HARP products is confirmed by the consistently strong demand from international customers, with its bearing solutions being successfully exported to a wide range of countries in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, including Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Egypt, and Iran, among others.
