Brief Description:

    The history of Irriworks Srl began between 1995 and 2004 with in-depth university studies and research into the hydraulic calculation of irrigation networks and the pressure losses of dispensing emitters. This theoretical-experimental work laid the foundation for a new hydraulic calculation algorithm and advanced software tools. The research group's potential was recognized in 2005 when their entrepreneurial idea placed among the top three in the StartCup competition organized by the University of Palermo and received favorable consensus at the PNI (National Innovation Award) competition.

    This success led to the formal establishment of Irriworks Srl on March 6, 2006, within the ARCA business incubator, with a focus on developing tools and services for hydraulics and irrigation. After a long engineering process, the company presented its first major product, IrriPro, at the 2010 EIMA fair. IrriPro is an effective and extremely versatile calculation tool for designing any modern irrigation system, balancing scientific rigor with computational efficiency. The company's innovative capacity was further recognized in 2011 when it participated in the “Italia degli Innovatori” exhibition at the Shanghai Expo.

    Since 2012, Irriworks has forged collaborations with important Italian and foreign industrial companies such as Plast Project, Vyrsa, and Netafim, developing new joint projects and creating specific products. From 2013, it has also stipulated agreements with various Italian and foreign universities and professional associations, allowing students and researchers to utilize the scientific rigor of its software in the academic field.

    Building on its success, Irriworks launched **IrriRT** in 2021, the first software dedicated to designing systems for landscape, residential, and sports greenery. Derived from IrriPro's technical experience but applied to the peculiarities of gardening, it immediately became a highly requested tool in its sector.
