With a rich history spanning over six decades, Molon Giovanni Snc is a distinguished company located in the Veneto region of Northeast Italy that has been manufacturing specialized agricultural machines since the 1950s. The firm's story began in 1936 when its founder, Giovanni Molon, started his work as a blacksmith, also attending to the repair of agricultural machinery. Fortified by the experience he acquired, he made the decision to manufacture hay machines himself, and in 1952, he produced the first hay rakes designed to be drawn by animals.

    Year after year, new models followed one another. In 1961, the first hay fork turners were produced, still for animal drawing. However, with the rapid improvement of agricultural mechanization, the machines were expertly modified and adapted for mechanical haulage. A significant innovation came in 1967 when the first side-delivery belt rakes were produced, initially designed for application on motor mowers and then adapted for tractors. The production line continued to develop, and hay turners and spreaders soon appeared, which obtained significant customer approval, especially for their original and effective application on motor mowers used in mountainous terrain.

    To fulfill particular demands coming from some agricultural and zootechnical fields, the company also produced specialized sweepers, built with a structure analogous to the side-delivery hay rakes, which have been successfully employed in the cleaning and harvesting of hazelnuts and olives, among other crops. The continuous development and increase in production led to strong space requirements, and consequently, the works building has been enlarged over time up to its current size of approximately 3,000 square meters of covered surface.

    For a long time, Enio and Bruno Molon, Giovanni’s two sons, collaborated with their father in running the business, and they are now the current owners of the firm, continuing the family legacy. The quality of Molon products is well known in Italy and abroad, and today, their specialized machines are exported all over the world.
