back in 1960. In 1997, driven by this same innate passion for mechanics and
an ingenious flair, Antonello wrote his own page in the family history by
designing a revolutionary machine capable of transforming a field of stones,
clods, and vegetation into a perfectly clean and level seedbed, all in a
single pass. This groundbreaking innovation became the foundation
of the company. After two years of rigorous testing and experimentation,
Ortiflor specialized in professional soil preparation for the demanding
horticultural, floricultural, and nursery sectors in Italy. Its reputation
for creating custom-designed beds with high-precision work quickly spread,
earning the company a strong foothold in the French and Spanish markets. The
momentum grew in 2002 when the founder’s brother, Cristian Alessi, joined as
sales manager, forging a powerful partnership that successfully expanded
their reach into Denmark, Germany, and eventually to new markets across the
globe, from Brazil to the United Arab Emirates. Today, after 28 years, the Ortiflor Group’s solidity
is reflected in its modern, multi-thousand-square-meter factory. The facility
is a hub of quality, divided into specialized departments for carpentry,
assembly, and an in-house powder coating plant, all supported by a dedicated
