The journey began in 1972 with the career of founder Silvano Palmieri, whose work in a small mechanical engineering company was the seed for what would become a global industrial group. The first chapter of growth was written quickly, with the establishment of the official Palmieri brand in 1986 and a strategic acquisition in 1988 of a historic forging house, adding a century-old industrial legacy to their own.

    This journey, however, was forged in adversity as well as success. In 1994, the company faced a true test of its resilience when a landslide forced the complete evacuation of its main production plant. In a remarkable display of determination, the entire department was successfully transferred, proving that the foundation of the company was stronger than the ground beneath it. From that moment of crisis, Palmieri rose to new heights, establishing itself as an international leader in the drilling tools sector by 2004.

    The years that followed were a period of unstoppable growth, marked by the founding of new specialized companies for tunnelling, the strategic acquisition of multiple new production sites, and the establishment of a German branch to serve the Central European market. Never content to rest on their achievements, in 2019, Palmieri embarked on a new adventure, entering the recycling sector with their innovative and proprietary PASS technology for waste pre-treatment.
