The story of Allied Pedestal Boom Systems is a 54-year American journey, a tale of two companies whose paths converged through a shared commitment to quality, eventually merging into a single, powerful force. It began in 1971, when Allied Construction Products first started manufacturing the pedestal boom systems that would become industry staples.

At the very heart of this story is a pivotal partnership that redefined their future. In 2001, a specialized manufacturing expert—David Price Metal Services, now known as Fabriweld Corporation—began machining components for Allied. This wasn't just a supplier relationship; it was a proving ground. Fabriweld demonstrated such an outstanding level of quality that they were soon entrusted to manufacture the entire boom system.

This evolution culminated in February 2016, when Fabriweld purchased the division to create Allied Pedestal Boom Systems (Allied PBS). This acquisition brought the product line home to a massive 100,000-square-foot facility in Norwalk, Ohio. Here, under one roof, a team of skilled tradesmen with decades of experience in steel and hydraulics manages every step of the process—from machining and fabricating to welding and final assembly.

Today, the story of Allied PBS is one of a company that honors its past while building its future. It is a promise to service the 1,500 systems already working in the field, while simultaneously launching a new era of innovation. It is a commitment to providing quality booms and attachments, exceptional product support, and rapid order fulfillment from a true "Made in the USA" manufacturing powerhouse.
