the ingenuity of Ken Hill and his co-founder, Don Carson. It is a tale born
not in a factory, but on the job, when Hill, working as a dealer operator in
Oregon, decided that standard equipment simply wasn't good enough. At the very heart of their identity is a history of
practical, operator-focused innovation. This is the story of how Hill
modified existing trucks so that all functions could be controlled safely
from the cab. But his true breakthrough was the creation of his own custom
spray bar, featuring poppet spray valves and breakaway wings. This design was
so effective and robust that the company still uses this original technology
today. This spirit of invention fueled their evolution. In
1977, the company established its long-term home in Wickenburg, Arizona,
transforming from a partnership into a dedicated manufacturing powerhouse for
asphalt distributors. A pivotal new chapter in this legacy was written in
2015. This is the story of how BearCat joined forces with another giant of
the industry, E.D. Etnyre & Co., becoming the largest partner brand
