The story of Fabriweld is a narrative of momentum and industrial resilience, encapsulated perfectly by their slogan: "Press Forward." This phrase is a double entendre, representing both their heralded line of industrial press equipment and the sheer determination of a team that has spent over 50 years striving for excellence.

The journey began in 1971 in Norwalk, Ohio. At the start of the decade, the local manufacturing landscape—bustling with construction, automotive, and concrete companies—shared a common void: they all needed a quality fabricator. David Price, a Norwalk native with exacting standards for welding and procedure, stepped in to fill that gap. He founded Fabriweld with a simple formula: combine the knack for putting things together with a demand for quality, speed, and precision.

This is a story of scaling up. What started with conveyors, machine guards, and custom truck bumpers quickly evolved. By the early 1980s, the customer base had expanded from local neighbors to the industrial pillars of the Rust Belt in Toledo and Cleveland, and the shop floor began producing larger, heavier machinery. As the company grew, it embraced the future. In 1991, David’s son, Chris Price, joined the engineering staff, integrating software systems to track production down to the minute—a move that sharpened their accuracy and efficiency.

This is a story of adaptation in the face of adversity. When the global economy stumbled during the recession of the late 2000s, Fabriweld didn't retreat; they pivoted. Recognizing the changing culture of energy, they expanded into the renewable sector, manufacturing load centers for solar fields, towers for wind turbines, and EV charging stations.

This is a story of strategic expansion. The Fabriweld of today is a multi-faceted network.

Geographic Growth: In 2012, they opened Fabriweld of Tennessee to service the southern United States.

Acquisitions: In 2016, they purchased the Pedestal Boom Systems division from Allied Construction, ensuring the legacy of over 1,500 existing systems while launching a new era for the technology.

Diversification: They brought finishing in-house with Pinnacle Powder Coating and entered the security market in 2018 with The Bullet Bunker, a line of bullet containment systems.

Today, the story of Fabriweld is one of a company that refuses to stand still. It is a promise that whether through high-quality manufacturing, quick turnarounds, or entering entirely new industries, Fabriweld will continue to do exactly what its name suggests: Press Forward.
