Setting the Standard in Screening Media: The MAJOR Story

For over 140 years, MAJOR has operated as an essential partner to the global mineral, aggregate, and mining industries. Founded in Canada in 1884, the company has dedicated its extensive operational history to engineering the most advanced screening media available, constantly adapting to the grueling demands of modern material separation.

High-Performance Solutions and Local Strength

At the core of MAJOR’s product lineup is FLEX-MAT, a revolutionary line of high-vibration wire screens available in both tensioned and modular applications. Recognized as the world's most advanced screening media, it is engineered to maximize throughput and eliminate material blinding and pegging.

However, MAJOR’s strength lies not just in its hardware, but in its global network of Certified Dealers and Screening Experts. This localized support system provides customers with complimentary, on-the-ground technical services, including comprehensive Screening Performance Assessments (SPA) and hands-on Screen Maintenance Seminars (SMS).

Vision: To be the first company to achieve global leadership in wire screening media for mineral industries.

Mission: To make FLEX-MAT the absolute industry standard.

Backed by Global Industrial Might

Today, MAJOR operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Haver & Boecker, a midsize, family-managed powerhouse headquartered in Germany. Backed by Haver & Boecker’s massive global footprint—which includes over 3,000 employees, 50 subsidiary companies across all five continents, and 150 worldwide representatives—MAJOR serves as the dedicated global unit responsible for pre-crimped wire screens within the aggregate and mining sectors.
