Brief Description: Guided by a profound sense of purpose and a belief
in national potential, the Guild Union of Producers of Tractors, Combines,
Agricultural Machinery, Equipment, and Instruments was established in Iran in
the spring of 2009. This initiative was driven by several critical objectives
aimed at advancing the nation's agricultural sector. The core aims were to supply high-quality
agricultural machinery compliant with both national and international
standards, enable macro-level planning for the provision of necessary
equipment, and promote comprehensive agricultural mechanization. These efforts
were intended to reduce production costs for farmers, significantly increase
agricultural efficiency and productivity per unit of land, and consequently,
raise the per capita income within farming communities across Islamic Iran.
Furthermore, the initiative sought to mitigate rural-to-urban migration by
strengthening agricultural organizations, partly through fostering the
domestic production of high-quality agricultural machinery. To realize these ambitions, the Guild Union was
specifically formed to: Foster the growth and development of the
agricultural machinery and instruments industry. Provide robust scientific and dedicated support to
protect and advance the interests of committed Iranian producers. Facilitate constructive interaction and
collaboration with the public sector. The Union aspires to play a crucial role in
fulfilling national priorities, including enhancing employment opportunities,
achieving greater self-sufficiency in agricultural products, promoting the
sustainable development of agricultural industries, and ensuring national
food safety. These overarching goals are pursued through the adoption of
modern technology and by cultivating a cooperative environment between public
and private sector entities. |
