Brief Description: The journey of F.lli Bonetti began in Milan in 1965 – marking 60 years of operation – when the company was established as a mechanical workshop. Its initial activities were diverse, encompassing repairs and tuning of motor vehicles, the construction of "Formula Monza" racing cars, and the application of diesel engines onto off-road vehicles. A pivotal moment arrived in 1974 with the development of the first prototype of a specialized vehicle, the "BONETTI F75" Moto Agricola. This innovative machine featured 4x4 all-wheel drive (with disengageable front-wheel drive), suspension with leaf springs and shock absorbers, a tilting cabin for easy access to mechanical components, a sprung seat, and an electrical system compliant with EEC standards. In parallel, F.lli Bonetti designed a vehicle with similar robust characteristics specifically for industrial use, which would be named the "BONETTI F80." As the company grew, production was moved in 1982 to a new, dedicated site in Vignate, a few kilometers from Milan. This facility, covering approximately 5,000 square meters, continues to house the entire design, production, and assembly process for their specialized vehicles. Innovation has remained a constant. In 2001, after decades of accumulated experience, the new "BONETTI F100X" model was launched, distinguished by a more harmonious cabin design and cutting-edge solutions such as variable ratio power steering and sequential reduction gear engagement. By 2007, a significant technical advancement was introduced: permanent traction via a lockable 3rd differential, a necessary development to manage the increased power of new engines, which exceeded previous versions by over 50%. Responding to evolving environmental standards, F.lli Bonetti began production of vehicles equipped with latest-generation Euro VI engines in 2015, incorporating AdBlue tank systems and a subtle restyling of the cabin that included a new front grille with round headlights. This commitment to environmental responsibility continued with further developments of the Euro VI engine to meet the current Step “D” requirements in 2020, aimed at enhancing emissions control.
