Brief Description: The story of F.lli Bonezzi began in 1954 when
brothers Italo and Peppino Bonezzi, both skilled turners, laid the
foundations of their business. With a legacy now spanning 71 years, their
initial venture involved designing and artisanally producing the first foot
pump for inflating tires, which they named “Universal.” A few years later, in
1967, they showcased a new inflation solution at the Scandiano trade fair,
then the most important in the province of Reggio Emilia. The positive
feedback received, both during the fair and in the subsequent months, was a
significant encouragement. Spurred by these favorable commercial responses,
Italo and Peppino Bonezzi expanded their offerings, introducing new articles
in the hardware sector, always with a meticulous attention to product
quality. From that moment, Italian hardware stores and several foreign
retailers—many of whom remain loyal customers to this day—began to recognize
and appreciate the quality of their work, increasingly choosing the “F.lli
Bonezzi” brand, which steadily grew in authority and reputation. The year 2000 marked a period of renewal, with the
company updating its logo and image. This also saw a strengthening of the
company management as a new generation stepped in alongside founder Peppino
Bonezzi: his daughter Nadia Bonezzi, together with Pier Luca Langeri. In
2006, F.lli Bonezzi moved to its current headquarters, a strategic relocation
that optimized the activities of various departments. Particular emphasis was
placed on enhancing all operations related to the production of "100%
Made in Italy" items, as well as improving storage and goods shipment
processes. This commitment to authentic Italian manufacturing was formally
recognized in 2012 when the company obtained the official “100% Made in
Italy” certification for items produced entirely in Italy using Italian raw
materials and semi-finished products. Between 2015 and 2019, the third generation joined
the company, with Loris Langeri assuming the role of technical manager. This
transition has further invigorated research and innovation activities,
including significant investments in new molds for the production of tanks
and the integration of advanced robots for assembly and testing processes,
positioning F.lli Bonezzi for continued growth and technological advancement. |
