Brief Description: With a history now spanning 25 years, the company
known today as ECO Italia® S.r.l. was founded in 2000 under the name AM2
OMNIA SERVIZI S.r.l. Initially established as a service company, it carried
out promotional activities on behalf of third parties, with a strong training
and technical vocation oriented towards prevention, safety, and the
environment in both the industrial and automotive sectors. A strategic shift occurred at the end of 2002 when
the corporate purpose changed to include the marketing of lubricating and
similar products. This new direction was solidified in 2003 with the
beginning of a key partnership with PANOLIN AG, through a contract that
assigned the company the role of exclusive importer and distributor for Italy
of PANOLIN lubricants. In a significant recent development in 2023, the
biodegradable production line of PANOLIN was purchased by the Shell group and
is now marketed under the Shell PANOLIN brand, a partnership ECO Italia®
continues. The company's evolution is also marked by its name.
The change of name to ECO Italia® S.r.l., implemented in January 2008,
reaffirmed the strategic environmental choices of the company and represented
a fundamental stage in its development, testifying to its primary commitment
to safeguarding the environment as part of its corporate social
responsibility. In 2015, ECO Italia® S.r.l. moved to its new headquarters in
via Anna Magnani, an important milestone made possible by the successes
achieved through years of commitment and growth, with a constant focus on
seizing new market opportunities. Today, the company specializes in the marketing (and
related technical services) of conventional lubricants and greases, special
lubricants and greases for food contact, and, above all, biodegradable and
non-toxic lubricants and greases for both the industrial sector and the
automotive market. This operational expertise is backed by a
long-standing commitment to certified quality. In 2004, ECO Italia® completed
its Quality System implementation process, obtaining ISO 9001:2000
certification with BVQI. In March 2013, the company successfully passed the
inspection for the renewal of the ISO 9001:2008 certification, relying on the
RINA certification body. Furthering its commitment, in 2017, the company
successfully completed the implementation process of an Integrated
Quality/Environment System, obtaining certification from the RINA
Certification Body in compliance with both UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN
ISO 14001:2015 standards. In 2018, RINA confirmed to ECO Italia® S.r.l. the
integrated Quality/Environment certification in compliance with the UNI EN
ISO 14001:2015 standard, underscoring its dedication to both quality
management and environmental stewardship. |
