ITALIANA has been designing, engineering, and manufacturing
"Flexball" ball bearing controls since 1960. With a rich history
spanning 65 years, the company expanded its production to include wire cables
in 1970 and now produces a wide range of control boxes for many different
applications, serving various industries in Italy, Europe, and other
countries around the world. We manufacture controls, both mechanical and
electronic, for all applications that require the transfer of either linear
or rotary motion. The main business areas we serve include: * Railways, metros, tramways, and transportation in
general * Agricultural machinery * Construction equipment * Professional and pleasure boats * The motor vehicle industry All of our design and development processes are
carried out using advanced Solidworks 2D and 3D Mechanical CAD systems. This
enables us to accomplish a wide range of critical tasks, including the
development of a product concept, performing fully associative top-down and
bottom-up design, conducting weight analysis, creating animations to analyze
how a product will work, and carrying out prototype design and full
industrialization. FLEXBALL has the full in-house capability to design,
test, and qualify all its equipment. Specific and rigorous tests, such as
those for endurance, friction, vibration, sand, dust, and salt spray, are
carried out on our products before their final release to the market. All critical parts of our controls are produced
internally. Our facility includes three assembly lines and two manufacturing
workshops, which permit full quality control during all production processes
and allow for detailed information tracking of each component produced. This
type of organization is a mandatory condition for us to fulfill the stringent
On-Time Delivery and Quality requirements requested by our global customers. |
