Brief Description: With a rich history spanning 189 years, the FRANK
Group began in 1836 with the founding of the "Reddighäuser Hammer,"
an ironworks established by pastor Christian Frank and master carpenter
Daniel Reitz in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg, Germany. From the
mid-19th century, the hammers, originally powered by water mills, were
primarily used to produce ploughshares, laying the foundation for the
company's future specialization. Over the decades, this original production facility,
now known as FRANK Walz- und Schmiedetechnik, has undergone several
expansions and is constantly being adapted to the requirements of modern
industrial production through digitalization, automation, and robotization. The Group's international growth began in 1993 when,
due to increasing capacity bottlenecks at the German site, **FRANK Hungária**
was founded in Hungary as a primary production site. As expansion continued
into the agricultural wear parts markets of Eastern Europe, a regional sales
organization became necessary, leading to the establishment of **FRANK
Lemeks** in Ukraine in 2002. More recently, the Group has accelerated its growth
through strategic acquisitions. In 2021, the acquisition of **OEM TEC** was a
significant step toward becoming a full-range supplier, expanding the
portfolio to include blades and components for the gardening and agricultural
technology industries. In 2022, the company took over **Lamator**, a
specialist in high-quality tillage tools and a well-known supplier of tines,
shares, clamps, and special forged parts to agricultural machinery
manufacturers. That same year, the sales organization **FRANK ORIGINAL
France** was founded in Ingersheim to provide customer-oriented support for
the French agricultural sector. In 2023-2024, as part of a new channel strategy, the
FRANK Group consolidated its European sales activities under one overall
program and continues to strengthen its production sites with further plant
modernizations utilizing AI robotics and machine learning. |
