With a rich history that began in
the 1950s, KTR has evolved over more than seven decades into a global leader
in power transmission technology. The company's journey started at its
headquarters in Rheine, Germany, with the development of two groundbreaking
products: BoWex®, the first curved-tooth coupling to combine steel and
plastic, and ROTEX®, the first brand coupling to become a DIN standard.
These early successes, fueled by imagination and engineering prowess, laid
the foundation for the innovative company KTR is today. This brings us to the present day, where, in
addition to numerous standard products, KTR develops over 20,000 new products
and customer-specific versions every year. To maintain this high standard of
innovation, KTR is always keeping things moving. The establishment of a new
R&D Center in Rheine and a new Competence Center for Brake Systems in
Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock has done much to set the course for the company's
future. This course now runs around the whole world, with a total of 24
subsidiaries and over 90 other sales partners worldwide ensuring that things
always run smoothly for KTR customers. As General Manager Nicola Warning
states, global proximity to customers, growing internationalization, and our
product portfolio are our key priorities. At a glance, KTR is at home in industrial markets on
all continents, with more than 480 employees at its headquarters in Rheine
and over 1,100 employees worldwide. The company has been certified to ISO
9001:2015 since 1993 and to ISO 14001:2015 since June 2008, underscoring its
long-standing commitment to the highest standards of quality and
environmental management. |
