Brief Description: With a history that began in the 1970s, Fort was
founded by a group of artisans and first entered the market by producing
small agricultural machinery, such as rotary tillers and diesel-powered
walking tractors, designed for the cultivation of agricultural lands and
vineyard upkeep. The company reached its first turning point while designing
these walking tractors; they achieved almost immediate, great success thanks
to the effective convergence of technology, quality, and the expertise Fort
gained by working directly in the field. Fort made a great qualitative leap in the 1980s,
addressing the needs of the construction industry as well and significantly
widening its product range. During this period, the company began designing
and producing minitransporters, vans with bumpers, tracked vehicles, and
small scrapers for earth tilling. This was complemented by a wide array of
attachable accessories, such as frontal bars for earth movement, ploughshares
and plows, towed trailers, barrel trolleys, grass mulchers, brushes with
collectors, snowplows, and leaf collectors, among others. During recent years, we have further widened our
range of products with niche items specifically addressed to small farmers
and nurserymen. Moreover, we have reserved a part of our operative structure
for the creation of electric machines, a move designed to support
eco-friendly and sustainable agriculture and to avoid harmful emissions. |
